I am very please with Freedom Solar. I have a problem with my Tesla Powerwall and contacted Freedom for support. Within a few hours they reached out to me and told me I was in their queue. You can't ask for a quicker response. Hopefully, they'll be able to develop a fix as quickly. The installation team was professional and installed and commissioned my original system within one day. Kudos to them.

I am amending my rating back to a high rating. Since my post, Freedom has reached out and addressing my issue. Their system was overwhelmed by Hurricane Beryl. They're trying hard to meet the challenges of this extreme event.

Unfortunately, I have to update my review with this downgrade. To be fair, I have loved the performance of my system until this latest issue. It appears that once Freedom Solar has your money you can forget about any support from them. I have started having problems with my battery backup system so I tried to contact Freedom Solar service by phone, by chat, by email with no response or even acknowledgement that they will look at the issue to diagnose and fix the issue. When you call your put on hold and after a while the phone system cuts you off. They offer a call back option but they never call back. I've submitted service requests through email with no response. I've been on their chat where they promise to contact the service department but nothing! It's more than frustrating.

Since then I've been in contact with Tesla support and they have connected me with another company to look at my outside.

Bottomline, once Freedom takes your money don't expect them to live up to their commitment!!

First rate operation. They just completed the installation on my system. I couldn't ask for a more competent, committed crew. The entire installation took just 4 hours. They were conscientious, and competent. They were obviously a well-trained crew that has done many installations. They cleaned up after themselves. Afterwards, they walked me through my new installation. Everything seems to be working to specs.

The Freedom Solar Dream Team recently completely my solar panel and battery installation and I couldn't be happier. I am now the first home in my neighborhood able to use solar and it was due to the sales, design, planning and installation execution. My sales representative Michelle was very patient and helpful as it took me almost 1 year to get my HOA to approve the project. Freedom Solar was incredibly helpful throughout this process as I had to continually ask for different information. The Dream Team leader had great communication with me throughout the process and the team members answered my questions along the way. I was watching carefully and they used great care in protecting my home throughout the install. They even made adjustments to the panel placement that I thought my HOA would require. The team was careful, considerate and very thorough. Safety was a key focal point protecting me during their work period. Overall, just an exceptional experience and I definitely recommend Freedom Solar.

Jose provided the best service I’ve ever received from any company. He installed my Tesla battery system and showed me two work the app. Freedom Solar is a great company.

The representative Otto is very knowledgeable about solar and battery. He answered every questions plus letting me know things that I didn't know. Even though I didn't sign up for solar, because of the price is so high, some day when solar getting cheaper, I might give Otto a call again. I do recommend him to anyone because of his knowledge. As a fellow Brandon, Brandon Edgley got me hooked up with a killer deal. Worked with the wife and I and made the deal sweet enough to get my wife on board. Will likely come back to grab more panels and a battery.

I've had something for over a year now with a Tesla battery backup. I enjoy little to know electricity bills. The energy company I'm with gave me $100 credit and I have yet to use that up in over a year so I have not paid it an electricity bill in a year.

I've had the absolute best experience with Rene and Freedom Solar. I have a solar system from a company who went out of business, so when I wanted to add a battery backup to my system, I needed a company that would do quality work and not take my money and run. Found a neighbor who had nothing but good things to say about their experience from Freedom Solar, so here we are!! Got a Tesla Powerwall-3 installed by Jesse, who not only installs the product, but also owns one as well. Jesse walked me through using the App and the recommended settings for backup and use. We had Freedom Solar install solar panels initially a few years ago and this week we added four panels and retrofitted the system with a Tesla Powerwall 3. The process from sales to design to approvals and installation was so smooth. No stress. Spencer Sobolik has been our contact for both projects and kept us up to date on the new whole home capability of the Tesla 3 Powerwall because he knew we wanted to eventually add that battery capability. I really appreciate the support and the service. I would highly recommend Freedom Solar if you are looking to install a solar power system.
