Founded in 2007, Freedom Solar started as an installation company, constructing some of the largest solar projects in Texas. After establishing ourselves as a leading photovoltaic (PV) panel installer, Freedom Solar expanded the business model to offer services directly to residential customers. We are now seeking a qualified Residential Solar Sales Manager in San Antonio to lead our team of Energy Sales Consultants to the next level! The Solar Sales Manager will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and delivering on required targets as well as working cross-functionally with other departments and prioritizing sales team workload. Our ideal candidate will bring experience from a solar or renewable energy company, be rooted in the San Antonio community, have stellar communication skills, and be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Who we are looking for

Our ideal Residential Solar Sales Manager will have Sales Manager experience with a strong B2C background, be a motivator and team builder, and be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Follow a plan and strategy to accomplish area revenue targets
  • Develop your sales team
  • Assist in the recruiting and developing of new team members
  • Mentor and coach your Sales Team to exceed sales goals
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of metrics like events, activities, etc.
  • Participate in weekly company-wide sales team meetings and conduct locally as needed to scale team
  • Prepare and present monthly forecast to Sales Director
  • Work with Executive team on current market strategy
  • Manage and prioritize daily workload
