+ Inventory Project Coordinator - Austin, TX

Purpose: We are looking for a professional meticulous Inventory Project Coordinator to join our Operation and Maintenance (O&M) team in Austin, TX. The Inventory Project Coordinator will be responsible for tracking incoming inventory and notifying Project Coordinator of order status. This role will work with vendors in overseeing the accounting and billing functions of orders and ensure that all invoices are paid.

Job Functions:

  • Oversees customer billing function of O&M and Service Dept.

  • Responsible for manufacturer billing and Returned Merch Authorization (RMA)

  • Tracks inbound and outbound shipments of Service Inventory and Manufacturer Materials using excel spreadsheets

  • Works closely with Field Services Technician to correctly order parts needed for project

  • Responsible for managing service inventory, tools, and fleet

  • Works with manufacturers to ensure compensation for billable warranty calls is remitted

  • Works with Project Managers and Project Coordinator to dispatch Field Service Technicians when replacement materials arrive to ensure quick turnaround times

  • Interacts with Freedom Solar Power sales, operations, accounting, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure efficiency throughout of all O&M processes

  • Oversees necessary paperwork, timekeeping, and inventory processing for all service calls

  • Verifies collection of payments and assist with other duties and procedures as assigned by O&M Manager

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • 1-2 years of previous inventory, procurement, or project coordinator experience

  • Prior billing experience strongly preferred

  • Prior experience using HubSpot a plus!

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

  • Highly detail-oriented and organized

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast pace setting with multiple departments and teams

  • Ability and willingness to help escalated customers

  • Willingness to learn to navigate manufacturer monitoring portals for PV and Storage systems

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel

Job Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Pay Range: $15-17 per hour depending on experience.

Additional Compensation: Bonus potential and opportunities for overtime.
