Job Functions:

Freedom Solar is looking for a strategic, versatile, and performance-based digital marketer to join the team in Austin, Texas as a Digital Marketing Manager. While reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for maintaining our website and creating leads in a cost-efficient way via inbound and outbound marketing campaigns utilizing digital, social, and email tools.

Job Duties:

  • Strategy, planning and execution for digital demand generation programs to deliver a consistently growing pipeline of high quality leads to support our rapid sales growth

  • Generate residential and commercial solar leads through digital and social channels

  • Manage our website to for search engine optimization (SEO) and conversion rate optimization (CRO) to improve traffic and conversions to leads

  • Oversee a planned website redesign and CMS migration project in early 2021

  • Build campaigns to grow our website audience and generate a funnel of high-quality solar leads through search engine marketing (SEM), display and remarketing campaigns, social media advertising, video advertising, email marketing, content marketing, and remarketing

  • Own accountability to senior management for lead volume targets, marketing funnel performance, and forecasting on a weekly basis

  • Recommend, test, optimize, and scale new digital lead generation opportunities and partners

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to meet or exceed our lead targets while demonstrating a high degree of integrity and professionalism

  • Strong verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data to determine campaign effectiveness and manage customer acquisition cost
  • Ability to anticipate trends and proactively problem-solve to mitigate risks and maintain growth
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ad Words, Microsoft Ads (Bing) required; WordPress preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering
  • 5-7 years of B2B and B2C marketing experience with digital lead generation or direct response responsibilities and budget management
