+ AP ASSISTANT
We’re looking for committed Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team.

Process invoices and record in Quickbooks.
Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling, and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
May be required to process check requests and tax payments, ensuring all appropriate approvals have been received.
Respond to all vendor inquiries.
Reconcile vendor statements and research and correct discrepancies.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
Assist in month end closing.
Assist with other projects as needed.
General office administrative duties supporting CEO, President and CAO.
What you'll need to succeed:
Knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Responsible for all finance related filing – including all paper files as well as filing electronically on the server
Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable
Possess strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
2+ years of Accounts Payable/ Receivable experience or equivalent
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-2 years QuickBooks experience required
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Especially Excel

$38,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year; eligible for overtime
