With the solar panel referral program, for every referral you submit who goes solar with us, we will send you $500 through our app. You can later redeem it with either direct deposit into your bank account or a digital Visa gift card delivered to you via email.

What is the Freedom Solar Power App?
The Freedom Solar Power app allows you to submit referrals for friends and family who are interested in gaining energy independence with solar. It is also where you receive promotional payments and certain Freedom Solar Power rebates. Our app is available nationwide and can be found on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
On the app, you can track the status of your referral’s contact stage and monitor how far along they are in the customer journey. Once your referral has fully completed their solar installation, you will receive your payment! If you have the Freedom Solar Power app notifications enabled, you will be alerted when your funds are ready to redeem.
We offer step-by-step video guides under the ‘how app works’ icon on your dashboard. From here, you can discover how to navigate all of your tools with ease.
How do I refer someone to Freedom Solar Power?
This can be done either by you or the customer you are referring:
- Download the Freedom Solar Power app from your phone’s app store and login or sign up.
- Select the ‘refer’ icon, add the customer information into the form or input from your contact list, then choose a preferred time to contact. Video instructions.
- Set up your wallet so you can be paid!
Frequently asked questions
Question: How is this app different from Advocator?
A: For customers who have used our “Advocator” referral app in the past, the new Freedom Solar Power app has the same functionality and will use your same login, but now has upgraded features like referral contact stages and a streamlined dashboard with all of the tools you need at your fingertips. You no longer need the Advocator app and can use the Freedom Solar Power app going forward.
Question: Can I use the same login from the Advocator app?
A: Yes, your login credentials remain the same for the Freedom Solar Power app.
Question: Why is my referral’s status not changing?
A: The referral status changes as their tasks conclude during the customer journey.
Question: I signed up under the wrong salesperson.
A: No problem, just use the ‘contact us’ option to let us know and we’ll correct it.
Question: I cannot redeem my funds.
A: To redeem funds you will need to set up your wallet first. You can watch this video for a step-by-step guide on how to transfer funds to your bank account.
Question: I do not feel comfortable with entering my bank account information.
A: That’s okay! There is an option to receive a digital Visa gift card delivered to you via email for the amount of your funds.
