As a Field Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for developing sales opportunities in the field through knocking on doors of private residences within a particular geographic area. In addition, attending Trade/Home and Gardens shows, company sponsored marketing events such as Concerts in the Park, and regional solar home tours and events. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be comfortable/confident approaching people to discuss solar services. The goal is generating leads and setting appointments with qualified homeowners. You will call into our call center to set up appointments.

Responsibilities

  • Learning and delivering a solar presentation to prospective customers
  • Completing necessary reporting of leads/appointments promptly
  • Attending company meetings as required
  • Maintaining constant communication with the sales and management team
  • Partnering with the Sales Director to ensure goals are consistently met
  • Sharing best practices and demonstrating behavior with team based on company’s core values
  • Engaging the team in continual training to keep up with market trends
  • Plans, organizes and prioritizes in an efficient and productive manner
  • Generate sales leads for the business

Qualifications

  • Good attitude & team player
  • Experience in sales or client service environment preferred
  • Results oriented with demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers
  • Ability to work semi-autonomously in a fast paced environment
  • Analytical skills to understand complex financial returns for energy investments

Compensation

  • Commission based compensation plan that ranges from $55K – $85K per year.
