The process is very easy and you receive emails regarding updates or you can keep up with the process through the freedom app.

It was about a year ago when I finally had my solar panels and Tesla batteries installed at my house. The whole process took a while for me due to permits, HOA, and inspections, but overall, I was satisfied with the work done by the installation team. They kept me informed about their progress and, to my relief, passed all the inspections with no issues.

Now, I'm working with the same team to install additional panels, and I'm happy to say that Jeffrey Winzenried, the original energy consultant who helped me a year ago, is assisting me through the process once again. He is a great person to work with, always available to answer questions and guide you through the process.

First off, Brandon, the sales representative, was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process, from the technical aspects of the system to the financial savings. He helped me understand the incentives available and made sure I felt comfortable with every decision. There was never any pressure, just clear, honest information, which I really appreciated.

Freedom Solar Power did a fantastic job throughout all project phases, including several follow-up communications several months after to ensure everything worked well. A major reason for this success was due to our sales rep, Brandon Edgley, who we considered more than just a sales rep as he continued to support us in all phases.

Due to a poor experience with our prior solar system on our California home, when we began working with Freedom Solar in Texas, I went through the contract and other documentation with a fine tooth comb, asking Brandon countless questions on the system, installation, support, maintenance, et al.. Brandon was patient throughout, either answering the question directly or taking the time to research and provide an accurate answer versus trying to answer the question without the required knowledge. We greatly appreciated this support, which later led to a smooth implementation. Brandon was very professional, putting our understanding and support as priority one.

Through his support, we have had a trouble-free system, and our last four power bills were only for the hookup fee. We were pleased with this since this included the EV charging and ensuring Tesla 3 storage was charged going into the evening hours.

My city service has been interrupted several times, but the system has performed flawlessly. It has endured severe hail storms, punishing heat, and frigid temperatures -- and it's still operating perfectly. Freedom Solar developed a cost effective design and then Crisjo worked with me to optimize it when detailed review showed an impact from a power line casting a shadow. Solar companies are scary but not Freedom Solar. They were fast, helpful and really did a great job. We got 2 Tesla batteries, Span curcuit controller, and solar. It's great!!!!

He listened to all of our concerns and answered all our questions. He explained different panel options and finance options available that Freedom Solar offers to fit our needs.

The installation team is amazing and fast. They installed 42 solar panels on our roof. The electricians were phenomenal dealing with the electrical in our old house.

Freedom Solar's Sunpower panels are worth the extra money. The panels are highly efficient. Their installation processes are well honed and their team is experienced. They connected effectively with the local utilities company.

With that said, their customer support staff can be overly reliant on their software, and not listen to the customer when there is a problem. Some of their customer support staff were amazing and some were infuriatingly resistant to understanding that an issue needed to be addressed.

In the end, the installation went in within 9 months from the signing of the contract.

I started working with the Freedom Solar team in 2024, the hardest part of the process was simply waiting on our local utility provider to complete the permitting steps. The FS installation team and our sales rep Robert Bradshaw kept us well-informed throughout the project and made things extremely easy. Our system was installed just before the winter holidays, and even with the reduced sunlight this time of year we've already seen a positive impact on our energy bill from not having to pay higher seasonal energy rates from the city. With our first winter storm in next week's forecast, we rest easy knowing we will still have electricity from our system if the grid goes down. I am happy to recommend Freedom Solar and Robert's team.

Freedom Solar installed our original 27 panels and 2 Tesla Gen 2 batteries. The system has functioned great. When a panel went bad, they replaced the inverter within a couple of months. We just got 3 more panels and 2 more batteries installed at a really decent price.

Freedom Solar kept me updated on project progress (some of the permits, upgrade to meter, etc take a long time). They came down and performed each step in the process on the day they said they would. They did a really nice job too.

I highly recommend them if you are looking for solar installation. I would buy from them again.

I wholeheartedly recommend Freedom Solar to anyone considering a solar panel system. I've had the system for 18+ months and it works as advertised. Jorge - my sales representative - is just fabulous. The initial installation involves coordination with a number of entities and Jorge coordinated everything for me. He also has helped me after the sale - as recently as today - helping me get the MySunPower app showing production at the individual panel level.

I chose Freedom Solar initially because they use SunPower panels which are very efficient. I was not happy with the original monitoring app, but it is much improved with the current version. Jorge is the man!

We installed 27 panels using Freedom Solar. Their warranties beat out all other solar companies we received quotes from. The install process was easy and moved right along. They did a great job helping me understand the next steps regarding an appraisal district exemption, answering federal tax credit questions, and questions regarding updates to insurance policies.

Lastly, they use the best, most durable, and efficient panels on the market. Quality is what matters especially if you're going to install something with the intent for it last decades. I will use Freedom Solar again if I need an expansion to my system.

Freedom Forever is the only solar company I will ever tell people to work with. After Encore, Lumio, and the like have left a wake of bad installations and broken panels through Colorado Springs, we desperately needed Freedom Forever and they saved the day

Shane and his team were great! Shane was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions when it came to solar. He was also very patient with me as we went back & forth a lot on design and how much energy I actually needed produced and still have it be in my price range. Once we got to a point where everything looked good the rest of the team was great. They came out and installed the system and did it in such a short amount of time that it was unbelievable. They have been very good with communication and everytime I called they made sure they found an answer to my question or concern. If they didn’t know they actually would call back with answers after the fact. It was great knowing they would deal with all the paperwork for my HOA & all the city/utility paperwork. Working with Bradley Martin was great experience. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Any time we had an issue, he was on top of it. Installers were professional and did a great job. I am very pleased with my solar equipment.

We did our solar system consultation with Mr. Michael through ZOOM. The virtual meeting took about 1 1/2 hours. He answered most of our questions about the solar system at that time. He explained the process from telling us the differences of other companies vs Freedom including warranties of the solar panels, inverters and roof. The last topic covered was financial options. After our meeting with Michael, we met with other two solar companies and got quotes from 3 more. At the end of this journey, Michael and Freedom got to win our business for being local, upfront and informative.

We love our backup power! When we lose our connection to the grid, which happens somewhat regularly, the switchover is so fast it's hardly noticeable. I do get a notice from the app. Depending on the conditions, I may adjust the thermostat and/or switch off the hot water heater, but in the worst case, we still get hours of power.

My wife and I worked with Zach to order a 15.4kW system in Austin, TX. The company were great to work with. We did lots of design changes to optimize production. The install crew were great. Zach is one of the best guys we've ever worked with. The quote from freedom beat every one else. We peaked in April with just over 100kWh in a day. In August best so far is 92kWh due to extreme heat. On an overcast day we still see around 25kWh. Only negative was the city permitting delays and city of austin billing scheme. There's no net zero in austin and you will be billed for electricity you produced/consume. Freedom solar have been great. Can't thank them enough.

The representative Otto is very knowledgeable about solar and battery. He answered every questions plus letting me know things that I didn't know. Even though I didn't sign up for solar, because of the price is so high, some day when solar getting cheaper, I might give Otto a call again. I do recommend him to anyone because of his knowledge. Vatrell our Sales Rep was great to work with. He explained that we didn’t even need a Tesla Powerwall battery, when Reps from other companies were pushing for multiple Powerwalls with our Solar setup. I appreciated Vatrell’s honesty and integrity during the sales presentation. We ran into problems with Oncor during the connection process of the installation, and our power was turned off for almost 24 hours and the installation team working through that with us. They even promised to get us reimbursed for the food that we lost when the power went down for a whole day. Not their fault but appreciated Freedom Solar Power for working through it to get it resolved.

When we planned our solar installation, it was to achieve an energy goal of meeting 72% of our annual electric usage with our SunPower array of thirty-one panels. In August of 2024 we had finished our first year achieving 84% of our electrical usage with power from the sun. That is nearly 17% better than our targetted objective! Several months into the year, I had been able determine from the performance of each panel as displayed in the SunPower monitoring app, exactly where tree shade was diminishing potential performance. So I had the appropriate trees trimmed, and immediately realized an increase in solar panel performance enabling us to achieve the wonderful reduction in our grid usage for the year. Freedom Solar has been very supportive every step of the way. We couln't be more pleased with our results. I strongly recommend Freedom Solar based on their integrity, product quality, and responsivness.

I contacted Freedom Solar Power after having so many issues getting my house generator repaired. I initially bought my Generac generator from Generator Supercenter and, after several years, they completely let me down. After having a tornado and Hurricane Beryl hit my property leaving outages, plus a couple of other outages, I’ve been waiting for my generator to be repaired for 5 months.
I found that generator companies are too covered up to handle all of the repairs. Most of them are not taking on new clients either.

Freedom Solar installed our original 27 panels and 2 Tesla Gen 2 batteries. The system has functioned great. When a panel went bad, they replaced the inverter within a couple of months. We just got 3 more panels and 2 more batteries installed at a really decent price.

Freedom Solar kept me updated on project progress (some of the permits, upgrade to meter, etc take a long time). They came down and performed each step in the process on the day they said they would. They did a really nice job too.

I highly recommend them if you are looking for solar installation. I would buy from them again.

My city service has been interrupted several times, but the system has performed flawlessly. It has endured severe hail storms, punishing heat, and frigid temperatures -- and it's still operating perfectly. After WInter Storm Uri, we again contacted Shane Hertig to complete our install with two Tesla Powerwalls. They completed the installation, managed the interface with our power company, and always presented a well-informed and professional experience. Since the instillation, activation, and commissioning of our system with twin Tesla Powerwalls, we have been off-grid (zero kWH consumed) for many months. The technician was so helpful! Riley and the master installers addressed all of our concerns and stayed in contact during the installation. They even went to bat for us with Colorado Springs Utility to make sure we could own our power.

Freedom Solar was thorough and timely in the completion of our first solar panel project 14 REC panels, Enphase IQ8 inverters and IQ Gateway/Combiner. The second solar panel installation (8 REC panels)was delayed by our HOA over the holidays, but Jason Cheatham from FS has stayed with the process and answered all our concerns. The solar experience with Renee Rose was excellent. We had a house generator system which introduced technical challenges but were all satisfied with expedience and professionalism. Solar has made a difference in our energy strategy with less that 50% dependence on the grid. As we will be expanding our solar system in the future we will certainly give Renee a call.

I started working with the Freedom Solar team in 2024, the hardest part of the process was simply waiting on our local utility provider to complete the permitting steps. The FS installation team and our sales rep Robert Bradshaw kept us well-informed throughout the project and made things extremely easy. Our system was installed just before the winter holidays, and even with the reduced sunlight this time of year we've already seen a positive impact on our energy bill from not having to pay higher seasonal energy rates from the city.
